About Me

Hello, I’m Maisi, the founder of Our Tiny Minds UK.

With over a decade of experience in early years education and child therapy, I’ve seen just how much those first years shape both children and parents. My passion is helping families feel calmer, more connected, and supported as they navigate the ups and downs of early childhood.

Alongside my work with children and families, I’m also training as a psychotherapist.

My particular focus is Parent–Infant Psychotherapy, which supports bonding and emotional wellbeing during those vital first 1001 days. Not every journey into parenthood looks the way we imagined, and sometimes becoming a parent can stir up feelings from our own childhood. Processing these emotions while caring for a new baby  and figuring out how your little one fits into the world can feel overwhelming at times. My role is to walk alongside you through those moments, so you don’t have to hold it all on your own.

My hope is to also create a safe, compassionate space for parents who are:

On the fertility journey

Where waiting, loss, medical treatment, and uncertainty can bring waves of anger, sadness, grief, and fragile hope.

During pregnancy

When anxiety about birth, changes in identity, or fear of repeating difficult patterns from your own childhood can feel overwhelming.

In the postnatal period

Where exhaustion, isolation, and the gap between “how it was supposed to feel” and “how it actually feels” can be painful. Around 1 in 5 mothers and 1 in 10 fathers experience postnatal depression, and many more quietly struggle with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or feelings of disconnection from their baby.

Why I started Our Tiny Minds

Over the years, I’ve seen again and again that when parents feel supported, children truly flourish.
I created Our Tiny Minds to offer a space where parents and carers can find reassurance, gentle guidance, and evidence-based support not only for their little ones, but for themselves too.
Everything we share is grounded in professional knowledge, but delivered with warmth and compassion because children thrive when parents feel supported too.

I also believe deeply in the power of community. My hope is to build a peer support network where parents from the very first steps of planning to conceive, through pregnancy, birth, and beyond can connect with others who truly understand what they’re going through.
None of us are meant to do this alone, and together we can create the kind of support that makes the journey feel lighter.

Our Promise

At Our Tiny Minds, professional knowledge is always delivered with warmth and compassion because every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported.
